- It is anticipated that more than one contract may result from this solicitation. Any resulting contract is anticipated to be a multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with issuance of competitive task orders. The period of performance is anticipated for a base plus four one-year options with the shared program ceiling price not to exceed $15,000,000.00 during the contract period. This statement of work consists of conducting timber stand improvement with activities to include but not limited to: Hand Pre-commercial Thinning, Pre-commercial Thinning with Mastication, Hardwood Release, Meadow Restoration, Hardwood Regeneration, Hand Piling, Mastication of Surface Fuels, and Machine Piling. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment, and transportation to accomplish projects within the North Zone Ranger Districts, Black Hills National Forest. Equipment being used for the requirements under this contract shall be cleaned prior to entering any of the Ranger Districts, and each subsequent move within the Districts. This statement of work consists of completing hand thinning, thinning with mastication, Hardwood Release, Meadow restoration, limbing, piling, chipping, decking, Hardwood regeneration, mastication of surface fuels, hand/machine piling of surface fuels. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licensing, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, and transportation to accomplish all work necessary for project. A Pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for May 25, 2017 at 10:00 am MDT at the Northern Hills Ranger District, 2015 N Main St, Spearfish SD. Questions must be received by noon MDT May 26, 2 017 - any questions received after this date will not be considered. It is the contractor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the normal terrain.
