- Brand Name Justification Synopsis - M6700117Q1177 The MCIEAST Contracting Department and II Marine Expeditionary Force, G-6, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina have a requirement for Quantum Hardware and Software Maintenance services for equipment currently in possession. The request is is for brand name Quantum Warranty coverage for existing hardware and software. The Government will solicit (M6700117Q1177) and award this contract using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) utilizing FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) to the government. The Government's intent is to issue a single firm-fixed price contract to satisfy this requirement. There is no set-aside associated with this procurement. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, effective 19 January 2017 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20161222, effective 22 December 2016. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 15 May 2017. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/ and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) at https://wawf.eb.mil/. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.
