- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The internal RFQ number is N0018917Q0102. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 (effective 19 January 2017) and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222 (effective 22 December 2016). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action from this solicitation. The NAICS code is 337215 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for a Brand Name only. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Metal Dynamics, LTD, System 90 shelving materials listed in the table above for USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG-54) ship s store. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. Delivery is required on or before August 31, 2017. Delivery is FOB Origin. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
