Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Apostle Island National Lakeshore in Bayfield, WI. Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to construct a pavilion in accordance with A&E designs that will be provided with the upcoming Request for Proposal. Work will include the following: removal of water line, site preparation, construction of pavilion, and the relocation of the fish tug to the new pavilion. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS01021 PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid-June and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by mid-July. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Bayfield County, Wisconsin will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238130, and the size standard is $15 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
