- AMENDEMENT 0004 is issued to answer questions that were received and extend the close date to May 18, 2017. 1.Trench wall thickness? 6" 2.Trench base thickness? 6" w/ 6" base rock 3.Grate material? Galvanized steel or reinforced fiberglass? Fiberglass 4.Wheel load of grate? (no more than 250 lbs) 250 Lb 5.Rebar spacing for trench drain walls and footings? 12" OC each way 6.Rebar detail to tie walls into slabs? #4 rebar 18" OC or epoxy dowel 7.Water stop details for base/wall intersection? Prefer PVC water stop at all joints 8.Trench Drain width determined by common grate sizes? Yes 9.Is 24" the grating width or the inside clearance width of the trench? Standard sized grating can dictate inside clearance 10.Are we to include epoxy dowels between the existing floor cut and the new trench concrete? Must be tied in with either epoxy dowel or rebar 11.Is the concrete trench to be reinforced, and if so, what is the sizes and spacing of the reinforcement? #4 bar 12" OC each way. 12.Are the construction joints to be sealed with waterstop? This solicitation is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. Size Standard is: $36.5 Millions of Dollars. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price for this requirement is described as $100,000 and $250,000.
