- This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE for the following; QTY Part Number Description 6 HFWB-128A HF RF Conditioner (16610-2000-01) Wideband digitizer (GDR-110-33) SIGREC License Software Installation Disk 2 VUWB-320 NDR814 (8 RF input) 8-channel Wideband Tuner Dell R430 P4 GPU Servers (QTY 4 per system) Interconnect Documentation Factory Acceptance Test Documentation Integration, testing and training sessions will also be provided. Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to issue a sole source contract to SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE. The SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE Acquisition System is exclusive to SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE and is an integral part of the customers program, which maintains system hardware commonality and is required to support current Fleet requirements. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received within 7 calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by NSWCDD. All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Diana Moses via email at Diana.moses@navy.mil]. No later than 4:00 pm (EST) on the date noted above. Email should reference Sources Sought N00178-17-R-4009 in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
