Description
The Sources Sought (SS) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this SS will be treated as business confidential information. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is confidential. Responses to the SS will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expense associated with responding to this SS and site visit. All firms responding to this SS are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only. This is strictly market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code contemplated for this acquisition are: 337214 Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 337214, 1,000 Employees. The PSC contemplated is 7110 Office Furniture. The current industry capabilities, to include small business, must be confirmed. As such, all eligible small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from respondents as a result of this SS and site visit. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified sources that are technically capable of providing modular furniture as followed. STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES DESCRIPTION: Provide an estimate for the Russel-Newman Building modular furniture project. Two areas need office Furniture. Area One. Approx. 1,280 square feet - 26 workstation with 48 square feet per workstation. Area Two. Approx. 2,200 square feet - 45 workstation with 48 square feet per workstation. Relocate loaded file cabinets; room is to be identified for the relocation of the filing cabinets. The estimate should account for the furniture, delivery, and labor hours of installation. RESPONSES REQUESTED: The Government is interested in receiving meaningful feedback on the aforementioned Requirements Description. Interested sources that possess the technical capability and resources to fulfill the Government's requirements stated herein are invited to provide (1) a Letter of Interest and (2) a Capability Statement. Responses should include the following information: a) company name, address, point of contacts (at least two), email addresses, business/work and mobile phone numbers, the company's web page, if applicable, and DUNs and/or Cage Code; b) identification of business size (small/large business status) as it relates to NAICS codes, service disabled veteran business, HUB Zone, 8(a) certified business, Woman Owned SB, etc; c) CAPABILITY STATEMENT: Contractors responding to this notice should confirm, at a minimum, that they possess knowledge and experience to perform work.
