- The Sources Sought (SS) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this SS will be treated as business confidential information. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is confidential. Responses to the SS will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expense associated with responding to this SS and site visit. All firms responding to this SS are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only. This is strictly market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code contemplated for this acquisition are: 238330 Flooring Contractors. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 238330 $15.0M. 238390 Other Building Finishing Contractors. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 238390 $15.0M. 562910 Remediation Services (Asbestos removal contractors). The small business size standard for NAICS Code 562910 $20.5M. The PSC contemplated is R499 SUPPORT- PROFESSIONAL: OTHER. The current industry capabilities, to include small business, must be confirmed. As such, all eligible small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from respondents as a result of this SS and site visit. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified sources that are technically capable of providing the requirements described in the Statement of Objectives Description. STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES DESCRIPTION: Provide an estimate for removal of the carpet and installation of one of the four options in FEMA Region VI - 800 North Loop 288, Denton, Texas 76209 totaling approximately 40,000 square feet (2 floors (20,000 square feet each). This will also include removing the furniture, storing the furniture, and reassembling the furniture in the prior location. Potential line item description is listed below. Future Line Item or CLIN structure may look like. 0001 - Furniture Removal 0002 - Furniture Storage 0003 - Carpet and baseboard removal CLIN 0004 - Options 1. Refurbish existing title and add baseboards. 2. Place tile over tile and add baseboards. 3. Remove tile, add new tile, and baseboards. 4. Stain Concrete and add baseboards. 5. Replace with new carpet and add baseboards. 0005 - Furniture Installation of Furniture Removed and stored. Option CLIN - Asbestos Abatement as needed per square foot. Underneath the Carpet is Tile, underneath the tile maintains asbestos. In case of asbestos abatement may need completed, please provide a quote for that potential hazard if encountered. FEMA is trying to determine the most cost effective in replacing the carpet for 800 North Loop 288, Denton, Texas 76209. FEMA has not determined if this will be done in phases, room by room, set of rooms, common area, or by hallways. That may be determined by the estimates that are provided. Rooms and hallway should be measured for accuracy for that FEMA may determine the best route for procurement will be in phases. RESPONSES REQUESTED: The Government is interested in receiving meaningful feedback on the aforementioned Requirements Description. Interested sources that possess the technical capability and resources to fulfill the Government's requirements stated herein are invited to provide (1) a Letter of Interest and (2) a Capability Statement. Responses should include the following information: a) company name, address, point of contacts (at least two), email addresses, business/work and mobile phone numbers, the company's web page, if applicable, and DUNs and/or Cage Code; b) identification of business size (small/large business status) as it relates to NAICS codes, service disabled veteran business, HUB Zone, 8(a) certified business, Woman Owned SB, etc; c) CAPABILITY STATEMENT: Contractors responding to this notice should confirm, at a minimum, that they possess knowledge and experience to perform work.
