- Description
- The solicitation package will be available for download on or about 31 May 2017. Furnish all supervision, engineering, labor, materials, and equipment to design, manufacture, test, and install a new 16 ton gantry crane, hoist, winch and lifting beam. The new crane will use the existing electrification bar system. There are optional bid items for replacing the electrification system with another electrification bar system or a cord reel. The scope also requires the removal and disposal of the existing 10 ton draft tube crane and associated equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for field verifying existing drawings and creating as-built drawings. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 333923. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose number of employees does not exceed 1250. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fbo.gov. All offerors must be registered in FBO before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to this solicitation.
