- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor; providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) P17PS01262. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price, indefinite quantity contract to include a base plus four option years. The minimum quantity the Government will be acquired under the contract will be nine (9) bison GPS Iridium collars; nine (9) deer GPS Iridium collars and three (3) pronghorn GPS Iridium collars. The maximum quantity the Government will be acquired under the contract will be fifty (50) bison GPS Iridium collars; fifty (50) deer GPS Iridium collars and fifty (50) pronghorn GPS Iridium collars. Contractor will be informed by the Contract Specialist by the listed dates on Attachment B: Price Schedule via email with the quantity needed for bison, deer and pronghorn collars. Base order will be completed through a purchase order sent directly to the contractor. Option orders will be placed through a contract modification signed by the Contract Specialist. The intent of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to obtain quotes for new wildlife radio collars for bison, deer and pronghorn for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price base plus four option year contract.
