- The United States Rock Island Arsenal -Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) is seeking sources with the technical data packages (TDPs) for small arms weapons to enable the manufacturing of fully operational weapons in the following categories: -7.62x39mm Assault Rifle (Such as AK-47, RPD, RPK) -7.62x54R Sniper Rifle (Such as PSL, SVD, M91) -7.62x54R Belt fed Machine Gun (Such as PKM, to include all variants) -12.7x108mm Machine Gun (Such as DShK, NSV, KORD) -14.5mm Machine Gun (Such as KPV heavy machine gun) INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESPONDENTS: Interested companies who have the necessary capabilities should respond by providing a brief top level summary, limited to two pages, of your company's capabilities to meet the requirements requested and related relevant experience. Respondents shall include your company's name, phone number, cage code, and a POC. PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY: All information collected from this market survey shall be used for planning purposes only. Do not mistake this sources sought as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status.
