- Pre-solicition revised to set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business. NAICS code for the work described below is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36,500,000. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a set aside for certified small business contractors install 21 kW solar photovoltaic system and a 100 ft. long vehicle sun shade/carport with associated components, monitoring system, and all necessary conductors and conduit. Solar system will be installed on the sun shade/carport structure. In addition, the installation shall include coordination with the local electrical service provider and connection to the local electrical system. The Buffumville Lake Project Office is located at 48 Old Oxford Road, Charlton, Massachusetts, 01507. Work shall commence within 14 days after the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The work shall be completed and ready for use no later than 120 days after the NTP. Definitive Responsibility Criteria will be porvided in the solicitation to measure a prospective Contract's ability to perform the contract. The NAICS code for the work described below is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36,500,000. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000. to $150,000. Any responsible source meeting this standard may submit a bid to be considered by the New England District. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District. Please note this solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time, the solicitation requirements and contract documents to include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or mid May, 2017. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the New England District.
