- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Affairs medical Center (VAMC)-Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Chemistry Analyzer Machines on a Cost Per Test (CPT) basis in support of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS Code 334516, size standard $1000 Employees. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) (only one responsible source), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Beckman Coulter Inc., 250 Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92822 for this procurement due to the side by side testing requirements when transitioning, a competitive follow on procurement is anticipated. The Contractor shall provide The contractor shall provide VAAAHS two (2) Beckman Coulter UniCel DxC 800 Pro systems, two (2) Beckman Coulter UniCel DxI 800 systems, two (2) Beckman Coulter UniCel Closed Tube Aliquoters (CTA) systems, Remisol Advance Upgrade Application Server, Remisol Advance Server Application Services for Upgrade, Remisol Advance Upgrade Activation Code 3 Connections, Command Central Triple Monitor with Two Connections, Command Central Additional Connection KVM2, and Remisol Advance EQC requested by the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, for the period of Date of Award through 10 months after the date of contract award in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:30 EST on 5/18/2013.
