- AMENDMENT 0001: Anticipated Issue Date: 15 MAY 2017 - Anticipated Closing Date: 23 MAY 2017 - 2:00 PM EDT The reason for this amendment is to extend the response time and add Attachment 1 - Government-Use Silver Zinc-Batteries: Future Demand and the Industrial Base from the previous industry day. The attached white paper is Distribution Statement C. Only those companies (industry partners) properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the attachment. Request for access to the attachment shall be done through FBO. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx. ONLY - U.S. Government Agencies requesting access to the attachment shall contract Ms. Candy Owen for access. During the industry day there is a potential for the discussion of Distribution Statement C and/or Distribution Statement D information and only companies (industry partners) properly registered in JCP will be allowed to attend those discussions. U.S. Government Agencies will be allowed to participate per the prescription of the specific Distribution Statement.
