- Amendment Three (03) done to Request for Proposal No. A17PS00618 as follows: 1. To Answer Question Asked and the Governments Response: Question Asked: The solicitation for rangeland inventory New Lands A17PS00618 states that ¿Carrying capacity and stocking rates will be established for each range unit and/or pasture identified in the project area ¿ The level effort for this project would differ for developing the carrying capacity and stocking rates for a pasture versus a range unit. Could the BIA state that this analysis should be done either for a range unit or a pasture? GOVERNMENTS RESPONSE: The contractor should refer to Table 1.0 of the SOW showing 147 pastures contained in 16 Range Units. There are 665 transects randomly located within these pastures of the range units. Each pasture is fenced and are sub-units of a range unit. Because the pastures are fenced and are distinctive and confined areas for grazing, BIA expects carrying capacities and stocking rates to be established at the pasture level. The contractor should also show the total carrying capacity and stocking rate for each range unit when respective pastures are consolidated. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAINS THE SAME IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
