- DRAFT PWS NOTICE: This is NOT a synopsis or solicitation and no contracts will result from this notice. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine potential sources and requirement specific information. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOps ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ) website for further information. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used within the Air Force (AF) to facilitate decision-making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Information will be utilized to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. Interested parties choosing to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) are cautioned that this RFI is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The AF will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought Notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. However, interested parties are highly encouraged to respond to this notice if capable. The 52 nd Contracting Squadron (52 CONS) is conducting market research to determine interest in a firm-fixed type contract for Medical Translator Service to be performed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The anticipated period of performance, assuming a contract is issued, is on/about 30 September 2017 for one year with two option periods (12 months, each). The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541930. We are seeking information on capabilities and qualifications for Medical Translator Services. Information shall encompass the following (please limit submission to 10 pages or less): 1. Company Information: •1. Name, •2. address, •3. telephone number, •4. point of contact names, •5. e-mail addresses, and •6. CAGE code. 2. Recommendations for use of an alternative NAICS code. 3. Suggestions for alternate approaches to providing and accomplishing services. 4. Capability to fulfill the following requirement in accordance with attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement : ITEM #: 0001 QUANTITY: 12 UNIT: Months Medical Translator Service, Spangdahlem Non-personal services: The contractor shall provide non-personal services in support of 52d MDG Clinic's Tricare Operations and Patient Administration (TOPA) Flight. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, and personnel to obtain medical consultation and administrative support for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) staff and beneficiaries. Contractor personnel shall support the Referral Management Center section of the 52d Medical Group (52 MDG) service daily operations functions of host nation medical report translations and other related customer service duties. Contracted services shall include proper review, process and maintenance of medical records, medical admin assistance and customer service. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), Unit Effectiveness Inspection (UEI), and Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).
