- 04/11/2017 Site Visit Note : For the Bogota site visit, attendees will need to provide their own transportation to the Embassy and to the construction site. The Colombian Government transportation will be from the entrance gate of the construction site to the specific work location. -- This synopsis provides notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation a new operational room inside the existing DIRAN Colombian National Police (CNP) Compound in Bogota, Colombia and the construction of a new modular building in Colombian National police (CNP) base in Neiva, to support the INTERDICITON program. This acquisition will be solicited Full & Open (unrestricted). The order of magnitude for this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated period of performance is 126 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days. On or about April 07, 2017, the Government plans to post the solicitation. No paper copies will be mailed. Once the solicitation is posted online (see www.fbo.gov), the offerors will have approximately thirty (30) days to submit proposals. Award of a Firm-Fixed Price Type contract for construction services is anticipated within 60 days of proposal receipt. All dates are subject to change. A pre-proposal conference and/or site visit will be scheduled and included in the solicitation. The Government anticipates holding the site visit during the week of April 17, 2017, however the date is subject to change. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the Request for Proposals and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted online at www.fbo.gov as well. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All proposals from responsible vendors will be evaluated if received on time and deemed responsive. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The contract will be awarded based upon Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process (see FAR 15.101-2).
