- REQUEST FOR ISSUANCE OF SYNOPSIS IN FEDBIZOPPS DATE OF REQUEST: 2 May 2017 TITLE OF PROJECT: Electronic Security Solutions Door Locks System at Irwin Army Community Hospital Ft Riley, KS SOLICITATION NUMBER: W91278-17-R-LOCK RESPONSE DUE DATE: 31 May 2017 CONTRACT SPECIALIST: Chris Maund, 251-690-2629 CONTRACTING OFFICER: Geanette Kelly, 251-441-5765 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a notice of intent to enter into a contract to Upgrade/install keycard entry system for exterior and interior doors in various buildings at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Ft Riley, KS. The Mobile District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate and award a Task Order under an awarded Indefinite Deliver Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with CBS Manhattan, LLC, 1196 Tonganoxie Road, Tonganoxie, KS 66086 as a vendor with intricate and exhaustive knowledge of the present access control system. The Electronic Security Solutions Door Lock system is a Lenel system and only licensed approved vendors can work on the system. CBS Manhattan, LLC, is licensed and has written approval to work on the Electronic Security Solutions Door Lock System by Lenel Technologies at Irwin Army Community Hospital. This office believes that only one source, CBS Manhattan, LLC can provide the above required support. If any responsible source other than CBS Manhattan, LLC can fulfill the above requirements, written notification and supporting documentation may be submitted via e-mail to chris.a.maund@usace.army.mil. The e-mail subject line for each response should include "RESPONSE TO NOTICE FOR: Electronic Security Solutions Door Locks System - Irwin Army Community Hospital, Ft Riley, KS To be considered a viable source, documentation must clearly demonstrate: (1) Offeror's name, address, points of contact, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses, (2) Supporting documentation as an approved licensed Lenel system vendor (3) Past experience in installing the proposed system in an occupied medical facility. (4) Freedom from actual or potential conflict-of-interest. If no affirmative written documentation is received within 31 May 2017 of this synopsis, the Mobile District Corps of Engineers will proceed with issuing a task order to our awarded IDIQ MATOC with CBS Manhattan, LLC as the required vendor for use by our prime contractors. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this synopsis nor return the data provided. The results of this synopsis will be considered to be in effect for a period of nine months from the date of publication of this notice. A solicitation is not available.
