Description
This advertisement reflected an incorrect date the portable shower to be required at the Big-Cliff location. The date required is corrected and changed from May 12th to June 12th. This date shown on the Solicition/PWS is correct and no amendment required. The US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, Contracting Division, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204 is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure a contractor to provide a Cavitation Shower Trailer and Chrome 6 Wastewater Disposal at Dexter and Big Cliff Dams, in Lane and Marion Counties, OR. This solicitation is a total set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 562991. The USACE Willamette Valley Project (WVP), located at 40386 W Boundary Road Lowell, OR 970452, requires a shower trailer at Dexter on May 30th 2017 for 12 days and at Big Cliff on June 12th 2017 (date corrected) for 18 days. The shower trailer is for employees to shower off any hexavalent chrome (chrome 6) contamination after performing cavitation repairs to the hydropower unit runners. The wastewater shall then be tested for chrome 6 per EPA testing method 7196 A. Results shall be received within 2 weeks to determine proper disposal, per OSHA/EPA standards, of wastewater and other items that are or are not hazardous waste. The shower trailer will then be moved over to the next location for the same services to occur for showering, testing, and disposal. All personnel handling or otherwise coming into contact with the waste water shall be OSHA 29CRF 1919.120 (e) (3) (i) trained or an equivalent training certification. Reference the Performance Work Statement in the solicitation for further details. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by our agency.
