Description
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Florida City: Tampa Delineated Area: Boundaries of Tampa International Airport Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 22,492 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 22,492 Space Type: Office and related space Parking Spaces (Total): 35 – may be surface or structure Parking Spaces (Surface): See above Parking Spaces (Structured): See above Parking Spaces (Reserved): 35 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 3 years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: Will be stated in the Request for Lease Proposal for Project 5FL0470 Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire and life safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is preferred but not required. The U.S. Government currently occupies 21,390 ANSI/BOMA square feet (ABOA SF) of office and related space at 4200 George J. Bean Parkway, Tampa, FL 33607 under a lease that will be expiring on June 1, 2018. The Government has identified a need for 1,100 ABOA SF of expansion space. The Government is considering whether to enter into a superseding lease for the entire requirement of 22,490 ABOA SF of office and related space at its current location with a commencement date of approximately September 1, 2017 or relocate to alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating including, but not limited to, physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency down time.
