Description
SUPPLY AND DELIVER TRIMBLE R10 GPS AND TOTAL STATION TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, ALASKA REGIONAL OFFICE, ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. P17PS01375 NPS Alaska Regional Office Trimble GPS and Total Station SUBJECT: Sources Sought. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price delivery order to Trimble Inc., 5475 Kellenburger Rd., Dayton, Ohio, 45424-1013, to purchase a Trimble R10 GNSS receiver, internal 410-470 MHz radio and a Trimble M3 Mechanical 3 ¿ Total Station with Access, Optical Plummet; GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract #: GS-07F-5588P. Both devices will enhance accuracies and yield existing Trimble fleet, under tough GPS environments encountered across NPS, Alaska Region Parks. Currently all survey systems deployed in Alaska Parks are Trimble brands. The software used with Trimble GPS equipment only supports that equipment and requires extensive training to use. NPS intends to maintain compatibility with current field equipment while providing consistent support and training for survey projects. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $50,000. NAICS classification code: 334511 and PSC: 5825. The business size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 AM Alaska Daylight Standard Time (ADT), May 26, 2017 by sending an e-mail to rebecca_graham@nps.gov; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future requirements.
