- Mulberry Bend Chip Seal Project, Missouri National Recreational River, Dixon County, Nebraska This is a project to resurface the Mulberry Bend Overlook parking area and access road located along Nebraska State Highway 15, just south of the Missouri River bridge between Vermillion, South Dakota (SD Highway 19) and Newcastle, Nebraska. Prior to resurfacing, one area with a wide transverse pavement crack needs to be repaired with a full depth pavement section of aggregate base and hot asphaltic concrete. Bituminous pavement crack sealing also needs to be performed ahead of the resurfacing. The existing paved surface then needs to be cleaned, resurfaced full width with an armor coat and fog seal, and striped with new pavement markings. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and supervision to complete entire project as specified. This project is set-aside 100% for Small Business. NAICS Codes: 237310, Size Standard: $36.5 million, PSC: Z1LZ. The anticipated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is expected to be 45 days. Payment protection is required for all awards over $35,000 and less than $150,000. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Dixon County, Nebraska shall apply. The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Nekota Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) that will result in a firm-fixed price construction contract. The official solicitation package and its attachments will be issued on or about May 31, 2017 and posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect website at www.fedconnect.net. Applicable site visit details will be provided with the solicitation documents. No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Offerors must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications in SAM, in order to be eligible for award.
