- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and tools to replace existing carpet in the Lotts Center, Building 31 Bay G, at the Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297. Contractor shall install 24 inch by 24 inch carpet squares, 26 oz. weight with a padded back per manufacturer recommended installation guidelines and use a low VOC glue. The contractor will be required to remove and dispose of the old carpet and install the new carpet in an area of approximately 21,600 sq. ft. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $150,000 and $170,000. Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on or about May 31, 2017. The tentative closing date for the RFP is June 15, 2017 by 3:00 pm. The applicable NAICS Code is 238330 (Carpet, installation only) with a Small Business Size Standard of $15,000,000. Estimated performance is 30 days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This request is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. All relevant solicitation documents, including statement of work, may be accessed for download beginning the date of issue at the following site: http://www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database through www.sam.gov in order to receive a federal government contract.
