- Attached Floor Plan Attached Solicitation U.S. Naval Environmental & Preventive Medicine, Pearl Harbor, HI has a requirement for installation of cable wire. NEPMU6 new data and phone drops from COMM room to room 1A16. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 1. Install Drops a. Install approximately 15 j-hooks. b. Install approximately 2,300 ft. of CAT6 blue plenum-rated cable using existing and new pathway to five (5) locations. i. At two (2) locations, cable will be ran within wall. ii. At three (3) locations, cable will be ran within existing underground conduit and into the modular office furniture. iii. At the user-end, all cables will be terminated in new 4-port faceplates using blue CAT6 jacks (T568A). iv. At the switch end, all DATA cables will be terminated in an existing CAT6 patch panel in the 2-post rack in room 1A03. v. At the voice demark end, all VOICE cables will be terminated in a new CAT6 110-block to be placed below existing 110-block on the west wall of room 1A03. vi. Dress, label and test all installed cables. c. Furnish 24 CAT6 blue patch cords. i. 12 each of 2M. ii. 12 each of 5M.
