- Description
- BLDG 4843 Remove Mold Inside AHU#1 Perform cleaning, and restoration to an approximate, 250 combined square feet of porous, non-porous and semi-porous interior surfaces. Spray, fog or wipe the surfaces using a non-staining EPA-registered sporicide, bactericide, virucide, tuberculocide and fungicide disinfectant to complete the cleaning and restoration. After application of disinfectant, spray or fog the entire area using the product Bac-Shield(tm) antimicrobial of Chem-Tex Laboratories or an approved equal. Products of this type shall be used by the following steps and the manufacturer ™s specifications. 1. Apply a thin, even coating of mold Control to the affected surfaces. 2. Allow to dry. 3. As needed, use a cloth dampened with mold control and brush to wipe away any residual mold staining from the surfaces. BLDG 4843 Repair AHU#1 I. Ensure the UV lighting fixtures located in the blower section of the air handler are functioning as per design. Replace 3 each UV light bulbs with ones that are the same/ or equal to the existing in the blower section of the air handler. ii. Replace the outdoor air actuator and repair the linkages associated with the outdoor actuator and ensure the outdoor air dampers open and close freely. iii. Check for proper operation of AHU#1 and report any deficiencies to the contracting officer. iv. All repairs and tests will be documented and sent electronically to: Public Works Requirement Branch.
