- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) for contractor support to provide Landscape Maintenance Services support for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA. The Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the work IAW the attached SOW. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The basic requirements of the services are outlined in the solicitation. All work shall be performed at the Carl Vinson VAMC located at 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin GA., 31021. This requirement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561730 and the Small Business Size Standard of $7.5 million. The contract will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Eligible and interested vendors should download a copy of the RFP Solicitation document, VA247-17-R-0721, which contains the SOW and all corresponding attachments, from the FBO website (www.fbo.gov). The solicitation has instructions on how to submit quotes in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Please check the posting daily for updates. The government will not be contacting interested contractors regarding amendments. A Site Visit is scheduled for May 25, 2017 @ 10:00am EDT at the Carl Vinson VAMC. Please email Darrell Harper: darrell.harper2@va.gov to confirm attendance no later than May 24, 2017 @ 12:00pm EDT. The site visit is not mandatory but it is highly encouraged. Please note the due date established by the solicitation. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted via email, no later than June 1, 2017 by 12:00 PM EDT to darrell.harper2@va.gov. Questions on the telephone will not be accepted. All proposals must be submitted no later than June 5, 2017 by 3:00 PM EDT, by email to darrell.harper2@va.gov.
