- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - AF Leadership Conference The Air force District of Washington Contracting Directorate (AFDW/PK) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to The Air Force Sergeants Association, 5211 Auth Road, Suitland, MD 20746 for coordination and use of hotel conference room spaces and Audio/Visual support at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, NV. The Conference spaces will be utilized by Air Force leadership, using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission does not guarantee that this requirement will become a competitive procurement. However, the Government will consider all responses received by 31 May 2017, 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a subsequent competitive procurement.
