Description

RFI VA259-17-N-0537 STATEMENT OF WORK Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (Class III) training VA Medical Center, Sheridan, WY Introduction: Services are required to provide training to approximately 17 personnel on Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (Class III) and as required by 40 CFR 763.92, 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(ii), and VHA Directive 2010-036. Statements of Work: Item I: Contractor will provide one instructor to train Sheridan VA staff, of approximately 17 personnel, on asbestos operations & maintenance (Class III) work. Contractor will provide all books, handouts, learning materials, presentations, videos, lectures, PowerPoint slides, equipment, and accessories needed in order to facilitate training for the Sheridan VA O&M staff. Special Remarks: Training / instruction must be done over 4 days (split staff) to ensure Sheridan VA is able to continue maintenance operations. Contractor must perform all training at Sheridan VA designated facility on campus. Training provided must meet 40 CFR 763.92 and 29 CFR 1926.1101(k) (9) (ii), and will include a certificate, furnished to each individual, upon successful completion of the course. If sound equipment is needed for playing of videos or for slide presentations, contractor must provide presentations to the COR via email. Connecting to VA computer systems or equipment will not be allowed. Contractor will have 45 days to complete training and issuance of certificates once contract is awarded.
