Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office located in Buffalo, New York intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed priced, commercial item contract to InvoTech Systems, Inc., to provide the Buffalo VA Medical Center with the InvoTech UHF RFID Uniform System for Garment Inventory Management Software, Maintenance & Technical Support. The order will be delivered to at the Department of Veterans Affairs Buffalo VAMC, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. A sole source procurement will be issued to InvoTech Systems, Inc. as they are the only vendor capable of supplying the software, for the already installed, InvoTech Uniform System, located at the Buffalo VA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that the VHA Network Contracting Office 2 is awarding a proposed contract action of $5,000.00, only one responsible source, IAW procedures prescribed in FAR 13.106. For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, (i) Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization). The NAICS code is 541519 and has a size standard $27.5 Million, for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 4:00PM EST, May 19, 2017, to: curtis.rudolph@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
