- The purpose of this amendment is to request that proposals clearly indicate any items or aspects of the requirement that are considered wear and consumable and would not therefore be warrantied or covered by support agreements. Offerors shall also clearly indicate any excluded items that cannot be replaced or repaired in the field and will require factory repair or, if factory repair is not possible, then replacement if available.
