Description
Please see attached Request for Quote (RFQ) for more details on this posting. This is an Urgent Request for Quote (RFQ) for A Fiber Repair Project at the Customs and Border Protection Facility in Calexico, CA. Due to the urgency of this project, there is a very short window for responses. The services will be performed at the site located at 536 Barbara Worth Road, Calexico, CA 92231. This is a Small Business set-aside utilizing NAICS code 238210: Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $15,000,000.00. Vendors must be a Small Business to be considered for award. It is anticipated that a Fixed Price Purchase Order award will result from this announcement. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFQ. Therefore any cost associated with the submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. Due to the Urgency of this project, the closing date is set for Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. CDT (Oklahoma Time). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small business owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
