Description

The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), located at 300 Veterans Blvd., Big Spring, TX 79720, intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price award for the purchase of a Middle Ear Analyzer. The acquisition will take place under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Specifications: Multiple probe types for screening, diagnostic and clinical testing. Tympanometry (226 & 1000 Hz), reflex screening/threshold/decay (both ipsi & contra) and Eustachian tube function (ETF). Sweep/auto tympanometry. Noah compatibility. Automatic test sequences. Cleanable surfaces. Built-in printer. Small size. Stand-alone, or PC-based. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this equipment must notify the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 p.m. EST (3:00 p.m. CST), 05/24/2017. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications (indicate small business status) and description of product. Notification shall be faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. To be considered as SDVOSB/VOSB firms must be verified by the VetBiz.gov registration site. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
