- Synopsis SDR860-17-Q-0008: Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued at this date. The requirement is for gardening services for the U.S. Embassy Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The estimated number of square meters is 54,182-Mt². Please note that this is an estimated quantity. The anticipated performance period is for one (1) Base Year, with four (4) one-year Option Periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps website. Note: The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date; please see the Request for Quote (RFQ) for the actual date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Embassy compound. Section 3 provides details. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals.
