- Description
- This is a Special Notice (SN); the Request for Proposals (RFP) is forthcoming. Please do NOT submit proposals for this SN. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract with an 8(a) Small Business (SB) firm for administrative and technical support services for its Labs. This requirement will be set-aside using NAICS code 541990, with a size standard of $15M. The resulting contract is expected to have a period of performance of 5 years (to include a Base Year and 4 Option Years). Support services include basic, repetitive administrative functions and data entry, Laboratory Technician services to include DeoxyriboNucleic Acid (DNA) swabbing, evidence handling, fire test structure fabrication, instrumentation, data collection, suppression and overhaul. The solicitation/RFP will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: https://www.fbo.gov/. It will include all documents of the RFP package; no hard copies will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted on the same website. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Please submit any questions or comments via email to the Contract Specialist for this buy, if necessary. It is the potential 8(a) offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO website on a regular basis for any updates. Likewise, you are encouraged to request a copy of the RFP as expeditiously as possible since it will be issued without further notice, given acceptance by SBA of this requirement for the 8(a) program.
