- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with IBM, 6710 Rockledge Dr., Bethesda, MD 20817, Lab Services, a portion of a larger acquisition. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source." Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to katherine.medeiros@ssa.gov by 1 PM EST on May 25, 2017. No telephone calls regarding this matter will be accepted or returned.
