- Description
- The Contractor shall provide personnel, equipment,tools, material and supervision required to renovate hanger 70. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Removal of old Basketball equipment 2. Repaire of ceiling 3. Removal of existing HID Light Fixtures 4. Design and installation of new High Bay LED Lighting 5. Design and installation of new Fire Suppression/Fire Alarm in the hangar area 6. Removal of existing Gas Heater 7. Installation of 1 each new 20' diameter and 2 each 6' diameter Fan Ventilation System in the bay area 8. Installation of a new Linear Infrared Gas Heater System All work shall be accomplished in accordance with all applicable codes and standards,compliant with OSHA requirements, applicable standards of the National Fire Protection Associations (NFPA's) and in accordance with Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph (JBSA-RAN) general requirements. This project is located on JBSA-RAN, TX and construction work is subject to security and other restrictions. All work shall be coordinated with the 502 CONS Contracting Officer/Administrator and the 502 CES Project Manager. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any subsequent RFP will be made available electrionically via the FedBizOpps (FBO) website ( https://www.fbo.gov ) or or about 5 June 2017. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FBO website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls or facsimile transmissions will be accepted. Any costs incured as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement.
