- Single Source Determination for SAP buy. In accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) & 13.501(a)(1)(i), and coupled with the provisions set forth by FAR Subpart 5.101(a)(1), this Notice is hereby published to inform of the following: In support of the Chicago District's McCook Distribution Tunnel mission, the Chicago District intends to award a sole source contract to Broadway Electric Incorporated (BEI) in order to add or replace safety or code related items, or where existing operating equipment is identified as at or near the end of its useful service life. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990, with a Small Business size standard of $36.5M. Under the proposed contract, the overall completion is no later than December 31, 2017. The contract will result in a firm fixed-price contract. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for offers, proposals, etc. However, interested firms must send a capabilities statement NO LATER THAN 12:30 pm CST on May 30, 2017. Statements should be sent to the attention of Megan R. Manis at megan.r.manis@usace.army.mil. Please ensure that the subject line of your email includes "Solicitation Number W912P6-17-T-0008." Award is anticipated on or about 31 May 2017.
