- Drawings for project. Specifications for project The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, FL will be soliciting for the repair and replacement of HVAC, Lighting, and Restrooms of Building 3076 (MXG HQ) at Eglin AFB, FL in support of the 96th Civil Engineer Group. Work to be included in this project consists of replacement of HVAC system, chiller, air handler chilled water pumps, hot water pumps, hot water boiler, piping, duct units, terminal units, control system, ceilings, lighting, walls, floor tiles and windows, as well as: repair of all existing fixtures and finished within the restroom and provide eight (8) temporary facilities for building personnel during the time of renovation. See attached specifications and drawings. Proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Proposal) exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $15M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 in accordance with FAR Part 36.204. The performance period to accomplish the facility modifications is 310 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A bid guarantee will not be required. Payment and performance bonds will be required prior to the Notice to Proceed being issued. The issuance date for the solicitation is projected to be on/about 6 Jun 2017. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. NO paper copies of the impending solicitation will be furnished.
