Description
Sole Source. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with PerkinElmer Health Science, Inc. located at 710 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT, 06484-4750. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for maintenance and repairs from Perkin Elmer of various equipment such as Spectrum 100 FTIR Oil Analyzer, which includes TECAN Liquid Autosampler, Elan9000 AS93 PLUS Autosampler, Poly Science Re-circulator, and TurboMatrix 40 Headspace Sampler. These instruments have unique designs and unique/proprietary parts or firmware/software that only a properly trained technician can service correctly. Perkin Elmer does not authorize third-parties to service their instruments, they have their own service technicians in-house. The period of performance is for a one-year period. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard is $20,500,000.00 Dollars. Award for this requirement will be accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 25 May 201, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item.
