- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a sole source contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Research and Development Massachusetts Veterans Epidemiology Research and Information Center for brand name Datalabs software maintenance and support. The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Parexel International Corporation 195 West Street Waltham, Massachusetts, 02451-1111 on the basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. However, in accordance with FAR Part 5.207(c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The period of performance for software maintenance and support shall be July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 511210. The anticipated award date is June 6, 2017. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such. This notification shall close on May 23, 2017.
