Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for emergency and non-emergency service repairs and maintenance to the Synergy system located at the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105. NAICS Code 541330, size standard $15.0 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ingenuity IEQ, Inc (3600 Centennial Drive, Midland, MI 48642), for this procurement due to the proprietary nature of the hardware, software, and firmware of this system. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to service a Synergy system located at Veterans Health Administration, Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:30 Eastern time on 05/26/2017. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd. (54C), Attn: Kelly Poole, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
