The system must be battery operated with hydraulic lift and provide traction without weights. Performance required: System must maintain steady position from start to finish. One system that can be used for multiple positions for multiple joint surgeries System can be used with all types of surgical beds while eliminating the need for adaptors. Battery Powered chargeable battery provides power suited for use in domestic or international facilities. Distal activation switch on drape eliminates the need for a foot pedal. Foot pedal activation option. Beach Chair Position Lateral Decubitus -Control of internal/external rotation. Measured traction without weights Enhanced ability to control abduction, forward flexion and rotation Secondary humeral head distraction in the lateral decubitus position. Low Profile does not interfere with portal placement. Can be swung in and out of the surgical field based on the surgeon s need for distraction. Hydraulic lift for easy distraction, and greater surgeon control. Offers unimpeded access to the surgical wrist delivers measured traction without weights Provides exceptional control of both supination and pronation positioning. Allows unimpeded access to the elbow joint Enables easy positioning of elbow in extended or flexed position Delivers full control of supination or pronation position Positioning for supine elbow arthroscopy or open elbow procedures. The Veteran Administration is required to give first priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set-aside. If insufficient veteran owned small business responses are received, the acquisition will be set-aside for small business participation if there are sufficient firms available. If insufficient small business responses are received, the action will be advertised for full and open competition. The NAICS 339112 is applicable to this acquisition with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
