Description
MARKET SURVEY PROGRAM MANAGER LIGHT ARMORED VEHICLES DRIVER SEAT SAFETY MODIFICATION PROGRAM 1. Description. Program Manager Office Light Armored Vehicle (PMO LAV) is responsible for the total life cycle support for the Family of Light Armored Vehicles (FOLAV), and is located at the United States Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) in Warren, Michigan. PMO LAV seeks to identify sources capable of producing, packaging, and shipping a quantity of 807 LAV Driver's Seat Safety Modification (DSSM) Kits in accordance with a Technical Data Package (TDP) to multiple locations. The DSSM Kit is comprised of a commercial-off-the-shelf driver's seat height adjustment pneumatic valve assembly, plumbing, hardware and a driver seat height locking pin assembly with a manufactured handle. 2. Market Survey Request. PMO LAV seeks to determine industry capability to provide the requisite service as detailed in paragraph 1. Please provide any information or commercial literature, via email, describing your company's capabilities, safety, supportability, quality, cost, availability or other information not specifically requested that would be informative. This market research process is intended to obtain only non-proprietary available information about your company's capabilities. The United States Government (USG) does NOT wish to obtain any proprietary or otherwise protected documents as a result of this market survey. The USG may return data or documents that have proprietary or protected markings. All portions of this market survey are merely for market research purposes, subject to change at any time, are in no way binding on the USG, and do not represent an established requirement. This market survey is furnished for information purposes only with the understanding that the USG is under no obligation of any kind to proceed with an acquisition in any way related to or based upon the information set forth herein. All interested firms, regardless of size, are encouraged to respond to this request for information. It is not necessary to respond to this market survey in order to be eligible for future contract awards. 4. Responses Due. Would your company be able to pack and ship a quantity of 807 kits (package dimensions estimated at 1ft x 1ft x 1ft) at one time to various locations within the United States or would you require incremental shipping? 9.
