- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the repair of: NSN 7HH 5960 013221265, P/N VTR6610C1, ELECTRON TUBE NSN 7HH 5960 014477074, P/N VTR6610D1, ELECTRON TUBE NSN 7HH 5960 014997172, P/N 6625287, ELECTRON TUBE The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. This pre-solicitation synopsis acts as the public notice for the solicitation, which is estimated to be issued between January and March 2018. The solicitation will be for a 5 year contract (no options). All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government up until time of solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending.
