- Q & A Updated The contractor shall provide storage services for USAG Humphreys for Approximately 1 Year and potentially a one year option period. ***Correction to Answered Questions*** In a previous posted Question and Answer the Government stated that the contractor must be the landlord of the storage facility. This question was answered incorrectly as the solicitation does not specifiy this requirement. It is the determination of the Government that the contractor CAN subcontract the facility. ***The Solicitation has been extended *** Items to be stored consist of palletized furniture and appliance items. It is expected that the contractor will provide 25,000 sq. ft. of storage space and provide material handlers and material handling equipment such as fork lifts and pallet jacks to transfer approximately 1500 pallets from transport vehicles to the designated warehouse storage facility under the contract. At the end of the storage period, the contractor is expected to place the pallets onto transport vehicles for removal from the facility. The number of transport vehicles used, and the number of pallets moved on a daily basis will be determined by the U.S. Government and communicated to the contractor 24 hours prior to movement. Contractor must provide the Government with forklift and operator at warehouse site to unload and load transport vehicles and placement of furnishings and appliances in warehouse.
