Description

This solicitation is for a consolidated order for Region Six Law Enforcement for both training ammunition and duty ammunition. All ammunition shall be factory new and not reloaded, and from a factory or factory authorized dealer. Please reference the Schedule of items for the types and quantities of ammunition that is needed. The order is to be delivered to the USDA Forest Service, Mt. Hood National Forest, 16400 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055. The NAICS Code for this commercial acquisition is 332992 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. A solicitation for this project, following the procedures of FAR Part 12 for the procurement of Commercial Items, will be posted to this website on May 19, 2017 with offers due May 25, 2017 by 3:00 p.m., PST.
