- This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive UNRESTRICTED, Invitation for Bids (IFB). This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z1KF, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $27,500,000. Estimated Cost Range is between: $1,000,000 - $10,000,000 JOB DESCRIPTION: The work consists of maintenance dredging the Redwood City Harbor Channel of about 75,000 cubic yards of material to provide an authorized project depth of -30 feet plus 1 foot allowable paid over-depth in Reaches 1-5A and -28-ft plus 1 foot of allowable paid over-depth in reach 5B in Alternative 1. The solicitation includes an Alternative 2 to dredge approximately 136,000 cubic yards of material to provide a contract depth of -30-ft plus 1-ft of allowable paid over-depth in Reaches 1 - 5A and -29-ft plus 1-ft of allowable paid overdepth in Reach 5B, and Alternative 3 to dredge approximately 192,000 cubic yards of material to provide a contract depth of -30-ft plus 1-ft of allowable paid overdepth in Reaches 1- 5. The material excavated from Reaches 1 - 5A of the Redwood City Channel shall be transported and disposed at the Government-furnished in-bay site SF-11 and the material excavated from Reach 5B shall be transported and disposed at the Government-furnished deep ocean disposal site SF-DODS. All dredging material transportation and material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses. The solicitation will be available on/about 2 June 2017, for Viewing/downloading documents. All BIDS will be due on/about 3 July 2017/10:00 a.m. PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in SAM System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the IFB documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions.
