- Description
- The U. S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), intends to award a sole source one-year extension to contract no. D12PC00480 with Magellan Healthcare, Inc. to continue providing Military Family Life Counseling (MFLC) services for the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Under Secretary for Personnel and Readiness, Manpower and Readiness, Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) Office. The one-year extension will provide continuing worldwide non-medical confidential counseling services to military service members and their families while the requirement is being recompeted. The one-year extension is from August 15, 2017 through August 14, 2018. The one-year contract extension will be awarded under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The current contract is a performance-based acquisition for commercial services under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, in conjunction with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.
