- Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Omaha, NE Statement of Work and Project Details Door Opener-Automatic STATEMENT OF WORK This is sources sought announcement only for SDOVSB s or VOSB s that are ceritified in VetBiz and registered in SAM. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Thursday, May 23, 2017, 12:00PM (CST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System has a requirement to install an automatic door opener at the loading dock door located. Work includes installation of door opener and wireless push actuator kit. The Contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for installation. PURPOSE OF PROJECT: The purpose of this contract is to supply and install an automatic door opener and wireless actuator kit for our trash doc door. All work shall be limited to building 1, located in the Basement, East end. Omaha campus, 4101 Woolworth, Omaha, Nebraska 68105 (the VA). GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 1(ea.) Auto Door Opener NS215-9531 X LH X AL Senior Door Opener or equal. : a. Specifications: b. 9530 Series operator, with motor gearbox, control box, standard arm, header, and mounting hardware. c. Single door, surface mounted. d. Meets ADA requirements (power mode only). e. Handed for right (RH or LHR) or left (LH or RHR) swinging doors. f. 36" header length is standard. Specify length 33" to 48" max. g. Adjustable hold open period of 2 to 32 seconds in automatic or manual mode. h. Finish: Aluminum (ANCLR). 1 (ea.) - NS215-8310-3860TW Wireless Surface Mount Actuator Kit or equal. Specifications: 2(ea) 8310-856T Wireless Wall Mount Actuator 2(ea) 8310-868S Surface Mount Boxes 2(ea) 8310-800 Weather Ring 2(ea) 8310-844 Jamb Mount Transmitter 1(ea) 8310-865 Receiver Tech Service for installation of Auto Door Opener, Receive and Wireless Mounting Kit. Remove all debris from VA property. After hours work is authorized if needed. Prior to work commencing, Contractor must check-in with Engineering, Room B618. Provide 1 year warranty on installation and parts. Maintain a clean working site. TESTING, INSPECTION AND APPROVAL: Contractor is responsible for all necessary testing, inspections and approvals required by local enforcing authorities and in accordance with Construction Specification Institute's master specifications in order to produce a warranted product without additional cost to the government. All site utility locating services will be provided by the Contractor.
