- This is an award notice for a contract to provide a critical incident team for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This contract was awarded as a sole source contract to Immersion Consulting LLC. This is a short term period of performance of only four months. The long term goal is to issue a competitive RFQ but more time is needed to get the documentation prepared. As a result, we are using the statutory authority which allows us to make a sole source award but the goal is still to issue a competitive RFQ. Interested vendors are encouraged to review FedBizOpps for a future RFQ for these services. Vendors who have responded to the initial sources sought notice will receive an email notification when the competitive RFQ has been posted. The award was made under the authority of FAR 6.302-5. The statutory authority is provided under 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128, and section 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461.
